A Letter to Parents from Lisa VanDamme

Dear Parent,

After years of home schooling, I developed a new kind of curriculum. My curriculum emphasizes the essential skills students need to become thoughtful, articulate, and knowledgeable adults. 

I now have a new facility and a staff of highly educated teachers devoted to this method. VanDamme Academy is a private kindergarten through junior high school in Laguna Hills. Emphasis is given to the core subjects: history, science, literature, math, and writing.

Class sizes are small, so teachers can work closely with each student. Courses are individually paced, to allow students to progress to the highest level of their ability. The school has a safe, supervised environment in which students learn polite social interaction. Because we make efficient use of the school hours, students excel without the need for much homework.

There are openings for the coming academic year. I invite you to come meet with me and the other members of the faculty, and to observe the school in operation.
